who we are

clean.  is co-owned and operated on a small scale within Toronto; the cleaners who arrive at your door are the owners of the business.

We find cleaning to be meditative and enjoy the idea that we make your life a little bit easier while doing something that we love to do!

what makes us eco?

We’re eco conscious throughout multiple aspects of our client services; choosing bicycle and public transit as our means of transport to your space and using chemical-free cleaning supplies that are safe and practical for your home.

We use high quality, innovative Norwex microfiber products that allow us to effectively clean most surfaces using only water. In all other instances, we use non-toxic disinfectant, cleaning paste and natural enzyme-based sprays.

You can have peace of mind that we provide professional, trustworthy, and reliable services. Our general liability insurance covers any accidental damage and injury.

We are experienced in caring for delicate surfaces such as brushed stainless steel, marble, and hardwood floors. Please let us know if you have any special care instructions with any materials around your space.

tips to prepare for a clean

Communication is key. Let us know any special instructions for your space; including any pets, special tasks or materials. Tidying extra clutter is helpful if you’d like to maximize our cleaning time, or feel free leave everything as is if you’d rather us tidy up as we clean.

what to expect

We provide all supplies and products including mops and vacuums. We send one cleaner who can clean while you’re home or away, daytime or evening, according to your preference.

Your initial clean may take more time than usual as it may need a more in-depth clean.

booking

We discuss your customized cleaning needs over email and phone and work out the details with you.
We send an appointment reminder beforehand, as well as request feedback afterwards to ensure we’ve met or exceeded your needs!

cancellation policy

We understand that things come up. Please provide at least 48 hours cancellation/ rescheduling notice prior to a scheduled cleaning.

There is a $75 late notice/lock-out fee for canceling or rescheduling a visit in less than 48 hours before your appointment. The same fee applies if we are unable to gain access to your home as it is treated as an immediate cancellation.

We’re happy to offer monetary gift certificates for any amount $50 and up.
